Riccardo Braglia, Chairman and General Partner of 3B Future Health Fund, has over 35 years of international experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He is Helsinn Group’s Executive Chairman the family owned private pharmaceutical company, the Helsinn Group, founded in 1976 by his father, Gabriele Braglia. With a recent focus on cancer therapeutics and supportive care, Mr. Braglia has transformed the company into an international group with operating subsidiaries in Switzerland, Ireland, the US and China. In 2016, with the support of the Helsinn Group, he started a venture capital/private equity fund investing mainly in oncology.

Mr. Braglia serves on the board of several companies and charitable organizations in the US and in Europe (Thorne Research, Wellness-Fx, Health Elements.com, the Conquer Cancer Foundation, Medacta Group SA). He co-founded and is on the board of Lyfebulb, a patient entrepreneur platform that empowers people suffering from chronic disease. Mr. Braglia is active in the investment community as an advisor to the New York City-based venture capital firm Windham Ventures.

He holds a degree in Business Economics with a specialization in Business Industrial Management from the Luigi Bocconi University of Milan.
