Francesco Granata joined 3B Future Health Fund in 2016 as an advisor and board member. He is also member of the Helsinn Group board and chairman of Sintetica SA (Switzerland) and Kiowa Kirin International (UK). He is Industrial Partner at FSI, a leading Italian Private Equity Firm and sits on a number of boards. Francesco Granata is former Chief Commercial Officer and Executive VP at Biogen Idec and has covered positions of Regional President at Schering Plough and Pfizer in USA and Managing Director at Pharmacia and Upjohn in Italy. Francesco Granata started his career in the pharmaceutical industry in R&D. He has been Medical Director at Glaxo Italy and Southern Europe and has been board member at Glaxo International Research Limited at that time. He holds a medical degree specializing in cardiology.
